Zatec Brewery
Situated right in the heart of the famous
hops producing region, you'll know it immediately when tasting their distinctly
flavored brews. Brewmaster Miloslav Hervert tells that's
what gives them the edge--simply the freshest hops of any beer using Zatec
hops. After a lifetime of working with beer, Mr. Hervert will be headed
to retirement soon but the family tradition will be carried on by his
brother who works at Staropramen and Nephew at Vyskov. He's seen the ups
and downs of the brewery and it hasn't been easy but is happy, as any
Czech would be, to have spent a life working with beer!
