U MedvídkuNa Perštýne 7, Prague 1Metro: Národní trída Tel: +420 224 211 916 Pouring up a great mug of Budvar, and also the home of their own microbrewery which produces an 11.8% brew! Claiming a history going back to 1466, this hall was also used as the first cabaret in Prague. Treat yourself to some history as well in their museum that highlights beer making processes as well old photographs of the local brew houses. There is also a store on premises to buy some beer memorabilia. Open Daily 11:30-23:00 Comments

Besides the fantastic OldGott Barrique upstairs, try the Budvar Dark and kvasnicove Budvar downstairs in the little saloon next to the giftshop. This is quite possibly the only pub in Prague serving kvasnicove (yeastbeer) Budvar Svetle. Cheers!

Better to go later in the afternoon as the beer bar seems to open around 4 o'clock. The restaurant is open all day though. Old Gott Beer was very good!
